Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) permitted Segregated Nominee Account Structure in International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) wherein orders of Foreign Investors may be routed through eligible Segregated Nominee Account Providers.
This structure was introduced with a view to further facilitate ease of market access for foreign investors in IFSC wherein orders of foreign investors may be routed through eligible Segregated Nominee Account Providers (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") for trading on the Exchanges located in IFSC, while adhering to regulatory requirements as per the above mentioned circular.
